Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Community College Diploma in Human Services, Education or other related fields, or an equivalent of education and experience may be considered. Please note that a valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certificate and BC Driver’s licence will be required upon hire.
Job Requirements: The successful applicant will be required to have a Criminal Record and driver’s abstract completed and reviewed by the Executive Director, provide a letter from a physician stating you are fit for work, have a clear TB test and the ability to obtain a class 4 driver’s licence. Other requirements may vary, depending on the position being offered.
Having the ability to work with individuals who may display challenging behaviours and use alternate communication methods, or know American Sign Language is a definite asset.
