The newly built Little Eagles Children’s Centre is a licensed group child care facility, providing inclusive child care that supports healthy and optimal growth and development for all children. The child-to-staff ratio for infants and toddlers is 1 staff to every 4 children, and the ratio for children aged 3 to 5 is 1 staff for every 8 children.

Little Eagles Children’s Centre is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, with the exception of statutory holidays.
STAFFING
The staff are trained and certified in Early Childhood Education with many staff specialized in Infant and Toddler Training and Special Needs Training. All staff are certified in First Aid and CPR, and have completed a Criminal Record Search.
PROGRAMS & FEES
PLEASE NOTE: The wait list at Little Eagles is closed until further notice. Due to the high volume of wait list applications, we are unable to respond to individual inquiries regarding where your child is on the wait list and the anticipated enrolment date. When spots do become available on the wait list, a deposit of 50% of one month’s fees is required to hold your child’s spot in a program. A family’s choice for part-time care is accommodated if a space is available.

Fair Haven Children’s Centre
Fair Haven is a provincial Universal Child Care Prototype site. Families pay no more than $200 a month per child for full-time enrolment during regular business hours, regardless of the care type. For some low-income families, child care could be free. More information on the program from the BC Government can be found here.
Fair Haven Children’s Centre is located in Fair Haven Seniors’ Home. This gives our program the unique ability to have ongoing interactions with the seniors. This multigenerational approach allows the children and seniors the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities such as arts, crafts, songs and games. These social interactions enrich and broaden a sense of community in the children while having fun. (Please note: In-person interactions with the Seniors’ Home have ceased during the COVID-19 pandemic.)

Brentwood Park Plus Out Of School Care Centre
We believe that children learn through play, curiosity, experimentation and exploration. We provide developmentally appropriate programming and activities that promote inclusion, multiculturalism and learning. Brentwood Park Plus is a licensed out-of-school care facility that is fully wheelchair accessible. The child-to-staff ratio for children in Kindergarden and Grade 1 is 1 staff for every 10 children. For children in Grades 2 to 7, the ratio is 1 staff for every 15 children.
The Summer Program builds upon community exploration to many local recreational facilities that may include: Science World, The Vancouver Aquarium, Stanley Park, local beaches, local parks and many more. Brentwood Park Plus Out of School Care also plans and implements community fundraisers, thereby incorporating a sense of community ownership in the children while having fun.
