BACI is proud to sponsor an accessible screening of DAFNE at the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) on October 9th at 6:45 pm. ASL translation and Vocal Eye headphones will be made available at the event.
DAFNE is a film about a bright young supermarket clerk with Down Syndrome who finds the father and daughter roles reversed after her mother dies. It quickly becomes obvious that her dad now needs her support more than she needs his. Winner of the International Federation of Film Critic’s Award (FIPRESCI) at this year’s Berlin Film Festival.
