Careers 

BACI supports over 1,000 children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and their families by providing various recreational, training and development opportunities. In addition to our four child care centers, we operate 17 supported living homes and 5 multi-unit housing complexes in Burnaby – enabling almost 200 adults with disabilities to live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Residential Adult Service Worker

If you are interested in supporting a person or group in their home environment, residential supports offer a variety of day, afternoon and overnight shifts.

Community Support Worker for Adults

If you enjoy helping people find opportunities to connect with others in their community — to build friendships, find employment, or lead a more active life — our social and economic inclusion programs offer a wide range of day shifts.

Early Childhood Educators & Out-of-School Care Workers for Children

If you have a passion for working with children, our child care and out-of-school care programs offer a variety of day shifts.

Are you interested in living with and sharing your life with a person with developmental disabilities and supporting that person with their daily activities?

Committees play a key role in the development of BACI programs and services. Some, such as the Advocacy Committee, have led key initiatives and created change — locally and provincially — on issues related to community living and the rights of people with disabilities.
